The Huntington Hammer is committed to helping the growth and development
of college students as they follow the journey into their future careers.
THE HAMMER organization offers a variety of Internships in which students
can gain further knowledge of the sports and entertainment industry. THE
HAMMER has a small staff and offer Internships that focus not only on
their specific task, but a chance to help out in other departments of the
team for a well-rounded experience. Working with THE HAMMER is a great way
to build a Resume.
*** Prospective Interns can submit Resumes and Inquires until March 15, 2012.
*** Hammer Internship Programs run through the conclusion of the UIFL
Season (middle of June)

MARKETING – PROMOTIONS INTERN
*** SID & PR ***
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Assist in the upkeep of the TEAM’s website.
* Create and distribute information, game programs, sports news releases
and flyers.
* Distribute information for Game Nights and upcoming events.
* Participate and represent the Hammer Organization in community events.
* Game Day set up and tear down.
* Run all in-game activities and promotions.
* Work will be done inside and outside of the office and business hours.
* Help create a BLOG.
PAY:
* This is an unpaid position
REQUIREMENTS:
* Must work in the Office at least once a week during a morning or
afternoon shift during regular business hours.
* Must be available to work all seven Home Games.

MEDIA INTERN
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Assist in the upkeep of the TEAM”s website.
* Assist in keeping up Social Media Marketing for the TEAM on Facebook,
Twitter, You Tube, Blogs, etc.
* Create Videos for website with player interviews and highlights of
different events.
* Primary contact in the Pressbox for all game nights in assisting Media
and stat Crew.
* Assist at VIP and Media room and Check-in table.
* Write special feature articles and interviews.
* Work will be done inside and outside of the office and business hours.
PAY:
* This is an unpaid position
REQUIREMENTS:
* Must work in the Office at least once a week during a morning or
afternoon shift during regular business hours.
* Must be available to work all seven Home Games.
* Must understand Social Media operations.
* Some video editing may be required.

SALES INTERN
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Sale of Huntington Hammer small business packages.
* Sale of Huntington Hammer season tickets, single game tickets and ticket
fund raisers / promotions.
* Develop and implement group nights.
* Make telemarketing and sales calls along with maintenance and upkeep of
call lists.
* Assist Director of team operations and Account Executives in
coordinating sales presentations to prospective sponsors and fans.
* Working in both inside and outside the office and business hours.
* Answering telephone and taking ticket orders on Game days along with
assisting at customer service booth during game.
PAY:
* This is a Commission-based Pay only
REQUIREMENTS:
* Must work in the Office at least once a week during a morning or
afternoon shift during regular business hours.
* Must be available to work all seven Home Games.

affordable prices. As part of our “fan friendly” mission, fans keep the
footballs that land in the stands … although they must throw the
football players back. Our commitment is to make THE HAMMER a very
important part of the entire social and business community as well as
giving back to the local youth programs and being involved with charities
… and, of course “WIN THE UIFL CHAMPIONSHIP”. We want to offer
hard-hitting, high-scoring, “edge of your seat” professional Indoor
